This Privacy Policy explains how Curves NA, Inc. collects, uses, and protects personal information through the Curves Learning Community — the training, announcements, courses, events, and support platform for Curves club owners, club staff, corporate staff, and approved guests (the “Community”), accessible via web browser and the official app.

By creating an account or using the Community, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

We collect information you give us directly, including when you:

• Create an account or sign in
• Submit a join request (name, email, club/role details, and anything else included on the join form)
• Post in Discussions, comment, or otherwise participate in the Community
• Enroll in or complete Courses
• RSVP to or attend Events
• Submit a Support Ticket, including any details or attachments you provide about the issue

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Community (via browser or the app), we and our platform provider may automatically collect:

• Device and browser information (type, operating system)
• IP address and general location
• Log data such as pages viewed, features used, and time spent on the platform
• Course progress and completion data
• App usage and crash/diagnostic data, if you use the official app

Information We Receive From Others

We may receive information about you from Curves corporate teams or your franchise/club (for example, to verify your role before approving your join request).

3. How We Use This Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Verify eligibility and approve or manage Community access
• Operate core features — Discussions, Courses, Events, and Support Tickets
• Track training/course completion for compliance and reporting purposes
• Respond to support requests
• Send Community-related notifications (e.g. new announcements, course content, event reminders)
• Maintain the security and proper functioning of the platform
• Improve the Community based on usage patterns

We do not use Community data for third-party advertising.

4. How We Share Information

We may share your information with:

• Curves corporate staff, for administration, compliance, and support purposes
• Our platform service provider(s) (currently GoHighLevel), who host and operate the underlying Community and app infrastructure on our behalf, under confidentiality and data protection obligations
• Other Community members, limited to what you choose to post publicly in Discussions or comments — remember that anything posted in shared/public areas of the Community is visible to other approved members
• Legal or regulatory authorities, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Curves or others

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention & Security

We retain Community account and activity data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, compliance, and dispute-resolution purposes.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of online storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices

• You can update your account information at any time by editing your profile in the Community.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by submitting a Support Ticket or contacting us at the details below.
• Deleting your account may affect your ability to access training records, completed courses, or past Discussions.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Curves Learning Community is intended for club owners, staff, and corporate team members, and is not directed at or intended for use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18 through this platform.

8. International Users

Curves club owners and staff use this Community across the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. By using the Community, you understand your information may be processed in the country where our platform service provider(s) operate, including the United States.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Community.
