Study shows Curves program promotes weight loss and improves health in post-menopausal women
A recent study shows that the Curves program promotes weight loss and improvement in health in post-menopausal women and that calcium supplementation can help promote weight loss while following a higher carbohydrate diet, but has less effect when following a higher protein diet. In the study, 128 post-menopausal women were assigned to diet and supplement groups while participating in a supervised circuit-style resistance-training program (i.e. Curves) for 3 days a week over a 14-week period.
